Our Motto: When our doors open, your childes future begins. http://www.ballingtonacademy.org Job Opportunity: We are opening a new charter school in San Bernardino, CA and are hiring for K-6th grade teachers. We are also seeking teachers for our school in El Centro, CA which was established in 2010. The Charter School Teacher is responsible for providing instruction in content areas in which each assigned student can grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically according to his or her basic needs, ability and maturity level. This position establishes a wholesome learning environment and culture and partners with parents to ensure the highest level of educational achievement for each child.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in related field and completion of coureses needed to meet credential requirements. 2. Valid California teaching dredential (Multiple Subject Teaching or single subject in the area of Arts, Music, Technology, Agriculture and Sciences) CLAD, BCLAD. 3. Experience in elementary schools as a teacher or student teacher and charter school experience preferred. 4. Ability to meet District Standards 5. In Depth knowledge of project based instruction, differentiated instruction and convergence thinking. 6. Knowledge of curriculum, California standards and effective teaching practices. 7. Competency in human relations, building partnerships with parents and teacher groups. 8. Competent in English Language Development, oral and written communications skills. 9. Understanding of students with special needs. 10. Genuine concern for students and passion for quality education. 11. Role model for students.
