Job Summary

The Office Manager will have responsibility for:

  • Managing the accounts payable process for the early learning line of service, including reconciling vendor statements; processing purchase orders, check requests and parent refunds; maintaining payables files for food reporting and handling petty cash
  • Managing the accounts receivable process including office center billings, bank/credit card deposits, client collections, reconciliation of center attendance with funder billing, as well as funder payments with finance records
  • Prepare monthly reporting data and reports for review by center directors
  • Serving as HR Liaison to handle employee questions, maintain employee files, draft and route paperwork to HR, and audit expense reports
  • Supervise Office Assistant and Eligibility Specialist

Job Requirements:

Education, Experience and Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Minimum three-five years of professional office experience, including accounts payable/receivable experience
  • Ability to drive throughout Chicago metropolitan area
