Job descriptionValley Forge Academy Qatar is a new school established in the Aspire 2 zone in Doha, Qatar. It is an all-boy school. Currently we have pre-K to 7th graders and will be expanding to include grades 8 and 9 in the 23-24 school year. We are looking for teachers with the following characteristics:
- Proficiency in dynamic lesson plan development
- Ability to pivot to meet the students where they are academically and to create a plan for achievement and measured performance.
- Knowledge of PBIS
- Must be engaging and dynamic.
- Ability to differentiate.
- Ability to chunk material.
- Ability to motivate and encourage while setting a high standard of performance.
- Willingness to accept the culture and respect the beliefs of the Qatari families.
- Understand the importance of good citizenship.
- Willingness to take on other responsibilities other than teaching.
Troops to teachers, prior military, military school, scouting, and/or IB experience desired.
The process if hired will require attestation of your documents which can be time consuming, but is required to teach in Doha, Qatar.
