Bridgeway Academy is seeking a Full-Time board licensed Psychologist, School Psychologist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Licensed Independent Social Worker.
× A board licensed psychologist's duties will include administering, evaluating, and interpreting psychological testing and provide direct counseling/therapy and assessment services to Bridgeway Academy students and outside clients. They will write, monitor, and coordinate behavior management plans with the clinical team and consult with staff and families.
× The school psychologist's duties will include psychological testing within the scope of their expertise, direct counseling/therapy services for Bridgeway Academy students and outside clients, and direct consultation and training services for parents/staff.
× An LPCC's or LISW's duties will include direct counseling/therapy services to Bridgeway Academy students and outside clients, as well as direct consultation and training services for parents/staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following: Direct Service: The successful board licensed psychologist candidate will provide direct service by maintaining a caseload as dictated by contract and therapist procedures. He/she will conduct assessments and assist in the assessment of skills for baseline data, goal development, and progress documentation. He/she will develop, suggest, and modify/adapt IEP and ABA treatment plan goals and provide therapy in accordance with best practice guidelines as determined by state and national licensing and governing bodies. He/she will provide a safe, clean, creative, and structured learning environment that promotes educational and developmental progress. He/she will assess, develop goals, and monitor progress of clients who are receiving direct therapy services and will follow intake, service documentation, and discharge procedures. He/she will implement behavior support plans created by the Program Director and behavior strategies as dictated by the classroom lead teacher. He/she will provide appropriate communication and other required information to parents and school districts regarding the student's activities, progress, and behavior. He/she will participate in crisis intervention and response to intervention, will provide consultations as needed, and will communicate with the students' Bridgeway Academy teams regarding areas of concern.

Additionally, the successful school psychologist candidate will perform psychoeducational assessments, report writing, and feedback meetings with staff/parents within the scope of their expertise.
Mentoring/Support
The successful board licensed psychologist, school psychologist, or LISW candidate will attend parent and/or team meetings to provide consultation services to parents, teachers, and other professionals. He/she will collaborate with other therapy/educational disciplines to promote continuity of care, provide staff trainings, and will actively participate in scheduling clients in conjunction with other therapists and classroom schedules. The board licensed psychologist will supervise psychology trainees/postdoctoral fellows as needed.
Qualifications/Abilities:
Must have an applicable and current state and/or national licensure/certification (see specifics below). Must have experience in and an understanding of the field of autism, education, ABA, developmental disabilities, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Will have the ability to organize and structure a therapy environment with knowledge of developmental milestones, current best practice and therapy models, and be able to assist individuals who may be in crisis. Will have effective communication to include appropriate verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening skills, have the ability to promote a positive work environment, and be able to conduct oneself as a role model to co-workers exuding professionalism and enthusiasm. Must have demonstrated ability to get along with diverse personalities, displaying tact, maturity, and flexibility at all times; can give/receive constructive feedback to/from peers. Will have knowledge of special education policies and experience working with schools in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team setting. Must have good reasoning abilities, sound judgment, can adapt/be flexible to changes in schedule/work demands, the ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to follow through with behaviors plans.
