Job Description:
1.Assist students in evaluating their aptitude and abilities through interpretation of individual standardized tests, career assessments, and other pertinent data. Works with students in evolving education and occupation plans in terms of such evaluation.
2.Be available to students so as to provide counseling that will lead to increased growth, self-understanding, and career decision-making.
3.Take an active role in interpreting the school’s objectives to students, parents, and the community.
4.Work with teachers and other staff members to familiarize them with the general range of services offered by the counseling office, and to improve the educational prospects of individual students being counseled.
5.Supervise and teaches Peer Counseling.
6.Keep records on the students.
7.Provide an ongoing system of communication between parent and school so as to keep parents abreast of student successes and failures.
