Summary of Main Duties:
Maintains a developmentally appropriate learning environment so that all students achieve academic and social success in a co-taught, fully inclusive classroom. This position is 40 hours per week.
Job Duties:
- Collaborates and co-teaches daily with other educator and specialists in the planning, adapting, and teaching of the general education curriculum for all learners.
- Plans and implements motivating and creative age-appropriate lessons and activities to address goals as outlined in each students’ IEP.
- Collaborates with other teachers and therapists to implement an integrated educational/ therapeutic model.
- Creates a learning environment where the students are stimulated and motivated to work to their best potential.
