Each Movement School is part of a larger community investment to help children and families thrive. These broader investments include early-childhood education, wellness centers, and after-school care.
Our teachers lead in developing the mind and character of our students. Each upper elementary classroom is led by two teachers in a co-teaching structure. Our co-teaching structure allows for professional collaboration, relationship building, and a focus on small-group instruction. Our upper elementary classrooms are departmentalized with teachers teaching either language arts, math, or science and social studies.
All teachers are provided with best-in-class, research-based curriculum for all subjects. Each Friday at Movement School is a half-day for students, allowing teachers time for weekly professional development related to data analysis, management, and instruction.
