Eagle Ridge Academy is seeking motivated and self-starting teachers that will serve as collaborative team members and who inspires students as well as staff. The ideal candidate develops high quality relationships within the educational environment.  Eagle Ridge Academy offers a 4-day school week!   Teachers will work four – 9-hour days each week, Tuesday through Friday reporting one Monday per month for 4 hours of professional development.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uploads grades weekly
• Returns emails and phone calls to parents within 24 hours
• Communicates with parents of struggling students when the situation does not improve over a period of two weeks
• Attends at least one community event per semester. These events are the things that directly involve our students (athletics, arts, or academics)
• Acts as a coach, sponsor, leader or chaperone for an activity that directly involves our students
• Is expected to be on campus from 7:30 to 4:30 or reasonably meets the expected time windows
• Attends faculty meetings, department meetings, conferences and in-service trainings as assigned
• Fulfills all assigned duty responsibilities
• Promotes a positive image of Eagle Ridge Academy both inside and outside of the school
• Promotes a positive school culture which models the excellence expected at Eagle Ridge Academy
• Crafts meaningful learning experiences fo students that meet state standards while preparing students for post-secondary success. 

A qualified candidate is someone who:

1. A valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License 
2. Colorado Department of Education “in Field” by CDE endorsement or qualifications to teach secondary level courses.
3. The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team.
4. The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum etc.).
