Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction - Specialization in Art EducationArt Educators who have a master’s degree - No GRE required for students with a graduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution
Prepare for positions oriented to teaching and teacher education in higher art education; leadership in K-12 and community educational settings; or work as an independent consultant or scholar.
Advance your knowledge and skills as a K-12 arts educator or prepare to teach art education at the college or university level. This 60-hour doctorate is for established art specialists who enjoy mentoring new teachers and are looking to move into higher education. This is a rigorous degree program that provides not only course work, but also opportunities to conduct research, participate in scholarly publication, and gain teaching experiences in higher art education. It is fully available online through a mix of synchronous and asynchronous courses.
