STARTING DATE: August, 2020
 
SALARY & BENEFITS: The Science teaching positions are in Battle Mountain, Nevada.  The annual salary will be determined by appropriate placement on the Lander County School District Certified Salary Schedule.  The LCSD has a limit of fifteen (15) years of out of state experience that a teacher may bring into the District.  All years and/or placement in Nevada will be honored.

3 personal leave per year (after completing 1 year of service)

Mentor System for new teachers
Technology in classrooms (one to one, smartboards, etc)
 
QUALIFICATIONS: Highly Qualified Secondary 7-12 Science Teaching License issued by the Nevada Department of Education
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: Shall report directly to the site administrator and/or Superintendent.  Duties consist of teaching all levels of Science.  The LCSD reserves the right to designate all teaching stations (schools), work assignments, and other duties as assigned.  New employees must participate in an induction/mentoring program.
