Each of our classes has a maximum of 8 students so instructors may provide individual attention for the each student to refine and sharpen grammatically and verbally. Job Requirements:
Basic Job Description
1. Preparing class and delivering class in accordance to our curriculum
2. Students: kids, teenagers, university students, and businessmen
3. Class supervision and accurate student records of performance
4. Preparation of timely student reports
5. Attendance at parent/teacher meetings staff meetings and other promotional events from time to time required
6. Other assigned duties as required by the director to ensure the smooth functioning of the working unit (detention duty)
7. Participate and organize extra curricular activities
8. Provide references and letters and certain counseling duties.
Minimum position requirements
1. Native English speakers from UK/US/CA/AU/NZ/SA/IR only;
2. University degree;
3. TEFOL/TEFL/CELTA;
4. Teaching experience;
5. Reference letters;
6. Clear criminal background;
7. Medical report.
Changsha is the capital city of Hunan province, but the living expenses is less than a half than that in Beijing or Shanghai. It is a modern city with over 7 million people, you can live a comfortable life and save over GBP1000/USD1500 a month.
The Process
1. Send us your resume/curriculum vitae, plus a covering letter explaining why you want to join us
2. After we have received and reviewed your documentation and provided you meet our minimum requirements for an available position, we will likely either conduct a Skype interview or offer a video call interview shortly.
3. After the interview we require that you send us copy of your passport and copies of all your academic qualifications and a minimum of two referees who we shall call, after we have received your permission to speak with them.
4. Upon our review of the process we shall present you with an offer containing full remuneration details and our requirements as to the position being offered.
5. We shall obtain a job invitation letter from the local Chinese authorities along with a working visa letter.
6. You may arrange a visa appointment with your nearest Chinese embassy to obtain the working visa to travel to China.
7. We shall pick you up from the airport in Changsha and arrange your accommodation, our foreign affairs staff will assist with residence registration and visa paper works.
RMB 15000-20000 (up to USD3000) per month plus commissions.
