At the core mission of the school district are the Essential Outcomes that challenge students to become people of good character, innovators and problem solvers, effective communicators, global citizens, lifelong learners, and effective users of technology.

OUR CORE VALUES:
We believe in differentiation for students. We are committed to social emotional learning and to educating the whole child.  We expect a lot of ourselves and of others. We expect our students to succeed at the highest levels. We encourage all parents to support our schools. We expect our teachers and administrators to work diligently to help all students succeed. Most importantly, we all support each other's efforts and we are invested in one another's success.

OUR AWARDS:
Our four schools combined have received over 85 awards, including seven Blue Ribbon Awards, 26 California Distinguished School Awards, two Gold Ribbon Awards, and 29 County Kent Awards for Innovative Programs. 

OUR COMMUNITY:
Hillsborough is one of the most affluent communities in America with a population of approx.10,000. There is no commercial zoning and thus no businesses within the town limits. Our parent community is among the most involved of any school district in the nation. Parents have very high expectations and expect excellence in our schools. The Hillsborough Schools Foundation (HSF) raises over three million dollars to support our schools every year. Our Governing Board is a group of leaders devoted to good governance, communication, transparency, and to supporting the educators in the district.
