The Centinela Valley Union High School District is actively seeking qualified single subject credentialed teachers as well as Administrators who are ready to prepare our staff, students and community for a new beginning.  We invite you to become a partner with the District to assist students to enhance life-long learning in preparation for life in the Twenty First Century.
 
The Centinela Valley Union High School District is located in the beautiful South Bay of Los Angeles County just four miles east of Manhattan Beach and south of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).  The District incorporates the cities of Hawthorne, Lawndale and Lennox. The district has a student population of approximately 6,700.  These students attend Hawthorne, Lawndale, or Leuzinger High Schools for the comprehensive secondary programs, or Lloyde High School for the continuation program.  In addition, the district maintains an independent studies program, Centinela Valley Independent Study School.

Hawthorne, Lawndale and Leuzinger High Schools are multi-cultural, multi-ethnic schools that support academic, athletic and activity programs dedicated to excellence and achievement. Fully qualified, certificated individuals serving students in grades 9-12 staff the schools on a traditional school year. The Centinela Valley Union High School District, in partnership with our teachers and community, is committed to provide a high quality, multi-cultural learning environment that promotes academic excellence, social responsibility and physical and emotional well-being for all students.
