Fairmont Neighborhood School (12X314) is a NYC Public elementary school in District 12 in the Bronx. We seek candidates for an anticipated Special Education Teacher position in an AIMS (Acquisition, Integrated Services, Meaningful Communication, and Social Skills) classroom. The AIMS program is a unique education program that serves some students with autism at the elementary level. This full-time teaching position is working with a dedicated speech teacher and classroom aid as a teaching team for the 2024.2025 academic year. Valid NYS certification in Special Education, Students with Disabilities (All Grades), or Students with Disabilities (All Grades or Grades 1-6) is required.
