PS/IS 173 is a 3K -8th grade Public School located in Washington Heights, All community members share collective responsibility to learn and leverage the cultures of our students to enhance and extend learning.

We have high expectations of our students, Our Curriculum consists of Really Great Reading Phonics K-3rd grade. Expeditionary Learning K-8th grade. Envisions Mathematics K-8th grade, and the Creative Curriculum in 3K and PK.
