The Leaguers, Inc. is a non-profit agency spanning over 70 years in the community and state. We are the oldest African American incorporated nonprofit social service agency in the state. We provide for over one thousand 0 - 5 year old children and families in Newark, Irvington, East Orange, Union Township, Roselle, and Elizabeth, a total of 16 locations. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for children and families through diverse educational and cultural programs. We strongly believe in "Opportunity through Education".Our Pre-School Teachers are certified and our salaries are competitive with the Districts we collaborate with. Our Early Head Start Teachers have degrees in Early Childhood Education and/or have a CDA endorsement in Infant and Toddlers.
