Ciditty Kiddie has served children age two to five in the Soundview Community of the Bronx, since 2010. We have expanded in those eleven years from a licensed NY Department of Health Group Family Child Care to our present DOE UPK model housed in the ground level of the Soundview Housing Development at 1700 Soundview Avenue complete with three classrooms. each opening to an outdoor playground and expanded to our 1747 Soundview Avenue location where we provide infant/toddler care and offer extended-day services.  Ciditty Kiddie is staffed with an onsite executive/education director, four CDA certified classroom teachers, two general center assistants and a rotating resource staff member from the DOE. Through the RFP, we are not only proposing to expand our services in the Soundview Community impacted by Cov-19 but also proposing to gain entry for our youngest children into the encompassing DOE umbrella guidelines, structures and resources.
