Mission accountability: We intentionally track our students to and through college.

Professional development: MWA invests in training and professional development for its teachers, including weekly sessions onsite and opportunities to attend external trainings.

Holistic support for students: Students receive a variety of supports and services including extended day academic support, clinical psychological counseling, social-emotional development, and social work services.  Teachers receive some training and support that reinforce the holistic supports students receive.

Technology-connected classrooms: We have transitioned to a 1:1 Chromebook model with advanced teacher technology resources, programs, and ap plications for the classroom.  Mobile smart boards support classrooms that are technologically connected, flexible, and that support differentiated learning.

State-of-the-art facilities: The newly built middle school and remodeled upper school features an additional 14 acres and 250,000 square feet of teaching space, including open learning areas adjacent to classrooms that support collaboration, science labs, art and music rooms, a Maker Space, a parent resource center, dedicated space for restorative justice and holistic support, a playground, turf field, a gymnasium, and a performance art space.
