About HOPE

HOPE Online Learning Academy Co-Op (HOPE) is a public charter school certified by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and authorized by the Douglas County School District (DCSD) as a multi-district online school. We offer a blended (offline and online) curriculum designed to meet the identified Colorado state standards. HOPE serves students in grades 6-12, who access the curriculum from home and/or attend daily classes at one of 20+ locations (Learning Sites) throughout Colorado.

At HOPE, our pillars – Belong, Believe, Become – influence our learning culture. The motivation for all our decisions and everything we do on behalf of our students is represented by these principles.

The HOPE educational program model brings together:

• High-quality curricula that meets or exceeds Colorado Academic Standards and federal Common Core standards
• A learning model that allows students to work at their own pace
• Licensed teachers who lead instruction
• One-on-one community mentor support

Through our small, community-driven, diverse learning environment, students gain the knowledge and skills to become leaders in their community.  The vision of HOPE is to provide a safe, caring and engaging learning environment that empowers students to grow academically, as well as social-emotionally.
