Named after the first African American President of the Denver School Board, Omar D. Blair Charter School is a public, tuition-free, community charter school authorized by the Denver Public Schools that has been serving the Far Northeast community since 2004.  Omar D. Blair K-8 Charter school has a strong focus on social emotional learning and development, highly qualified core content and content specialized teachers, and a variety of specials courses to include health, STEM, and art, extracurricular activities such as after school clubs and athletics.
