Company Description:

Nevada County Superintendent of Schools is the county office of education for all of Western Nevada County in the Northern California foothills.  Our office takes pride in providing educational, financial, and student support programs for almost 12,000 students in Nevada County.  We work closely with the county’s nine school districts and seven charter schools, with a total of over 30 schools between them, to support all students and educators. 

Our largest department is Special Education Services where we serve primarily students with Moderate to Severe disabilities.  We are proud to offer a robust mentorship program dedicated to supporting our educators throughout the school year.  Offering an environment of support, professional growth, and camaraderie is important to us.
