Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Early Childhood Center is a model program and lab school for innovations designed to provide the best possible educational, developmental and social services to 141 very low-income preschoolers and their families. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and set the standard for comprehensive educational and family services in the preeminent Early Childhood setting. Our holistic approach prepares children for success in elementary school and in life by offering a seamless, age-appropriate curriculum that strengthens language, literacy, motor, social and emotional and cognitive development, as well as integrated Family Services. Our educational curriculum includes art, music, movement, swimming, farm to table food and many other components from our multifaceted settlement house. Our program is available at no cost to children and families that meet the federal Head Start age and income requirements.
