Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School serves nearly 3,000 students and is located in the Cook County suburb of Flossmoor, Ill., approximately 25 miles south of downtown Chicago. The district encompasses nearly 11.5 square miles, drawing students from the communities of Homewood, Flossmoor, Chicago Heights, Glenwood, Hazel Crest and Olympia Fields.
